Recovering from a back injury for the strength athlete

This course follows Dr. McGill's new book co-authored with champion powerlifter Brian Carroll, which tells the story of his massive back injury and the process of his recovery, against the odds, to return to the winners’ podium. The course covers the injury process so common in many strength athletes together with the rules of recovery. Then Brian and Stuart coach strength lifts and training hacks to rebuild strength and resilience. Brian concludes with a summary of his knowledge on nutrition, recovery, and weight cuts as a professional athlete.
The course includes lecture sessions interspersed with “hands-on” clinical workshops.
1.5 hours – Concepts for injury resilience and performance enhancement
6 hours – Coaching strength technique
1 hour – strength wisdom on nutrition and competition preparation Q & A session
