Maurice Chatman

PERFORMANCE COACH

Maurice is a Columbus native who has dedicated the last 8 years of his life to building teams, training athletes, and inspiring millennials to prioritize health & wellness. 

In his coaching, Maurice utilizes an integrative model that emphasizes holistic wellness paired with intense strength and mobility training.

His athletic edge was born through years of  playing football, running track, and wrestling from high school varsity all the way to the collegiate level at his alma mater, Tiffin University.

In college, Maurice discovered his life calling, to transform lives through health, fitness and sports performance.

Immediately following, he began a rigorous educational path to compliment his purpose. That path has included multiple NASM certifications including personal training, nutrition, and performance enhancement specialization. Continuing on, he has been certified in Corrective Exercise and Holistic Kinesiology by Paul Chek Institute. Along with strength training certifications from the National High School Strength Coaches Association . He is currently completing his Master of Science in Kinesiology at The Ohio State University. 

Since his sophomore year at Tiffin, his academic career has been complimented with 8 years of diverse coaching experience. Maurice has developed & implemented his own programs as a freelance personal trainer. He’s worked as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Columbus North International High School - conditioning basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, track, and cheerleading athletes. He’s led as a varsity and collegiate sports coach (Tiffin University) coaching football and track + field. He’s even endeavored as a fitness instructor at Franklinton High School. 

When he’s not coaching, Maurice can be found living out his 3 F’s, faith, family, and fitness. “
